Free Tyrone Price

On Saturday,February 1, 2003,Tyrone Price was falsely accused of being involved in a homicide and attempted robbery in the second degree. He was subjected to mistaken identification, fabricated evidence, false testimony, police misconduct, bias judge, and denied his right to a fair trial.

There was no evidence to support these false charges. The eyewitness gave false testimony. There was no weapon found in the possession of Mr.Price. There was no DNA evidence, scientific evidence, ballistic evidence, or physical evidence connecting Mr. Price to the crime.

Mr.Price presented an alibi defense in support of his claim of actual innocence that he was not present at the crime scene. The alibi defense and incredible testimony from prosecution witnesses resulted in a mistrial at the first trial.

During the second trial, the trial court denied Mr. Price his Federal and State due process right to a fair trial when it excessively interfered in the examination of key prosecution witnesses by conducting substantial segments of the People's direct examination and  continuously interrupting defense counsel's cross-examination.

Tyrone Price is a young African American who has been subjected to a gross miscarriage of justice. He is suffering excruciating pain, severe trials and tribulations, and cruel and unusual punishment with 25 years to life imprisonment for a crime he did not commit.
We are requesting the full support from attorneys, law professors, law students, legal and political organizations to help overturn this wrongful conviction.
